Hello all ,

This is a blog showing what I have captured on camera of my attempts to catch as big a pollack from shore as I can in and around the west and north of Scotland. This has resulted in a temporary form of madness (confirmed by my partner). Its not just the fish, its the country they are found in (Pollack country), lots of rock marks with sheer cliff faces, strewn with boulders and fallen scree. An almost pre-historic feel to the surroundings probably means you are in or near pollack country. These fish are extremely hard fighting and a worthy opponent. All my catches are returned and my qaurry respected.
